It’s a long strange highway
It’s a long strange highway we’re rolling down
Big city lights, small non descript towns
Urban delights, pastoral peace, lots of green, little bits
of brown
Driving on down the line, taking it all in
Straight line speed, the long and winding road
The ups, the downs, the turn arounds and all things in
between
Life is an open road, that part I do know
Where does it take us, where does it end
Rolling right along, lost in that feeling, right from the
get go
This is where it goes down, this is the life
The stops and the gos, the ebb and flow
Take your pick, play it safe, or live on the edge of a knife
