Guesswork Communication

So you call me deliberately slow, but I don’t
Know what to do with implications
All that’s meant to be so obvious
Joining the dots, figuring machinations

Words come easy, more often than not
It’s just sometimes, what’s said has latitude
That needs to be considered and figured
Too often the meaning is not what is understood

The essence of what is important
Is to admit to the clarity of feeling
Not trying to plot some comprehension
Till you get a head that’s thumping and reeling

So what when that clarity is inconvenient
To admit to even oneself can get so tough
Do you need to state, communicate?
I’d say, even a little, well put, is enough
